Are You Experiencing Spiritual Burnout?
When you are going through your spiritual awakening, you may experience many symptoms as you go through your journey.
Because there is so much that a person goes through during a spiritual awakening, you may be going through a spiritual burnout.
A spiritual burnout is when you feel extreme fatigue which may cause you to feel hopeless which in result may make you feel like you are losing yourself. This feeling may also leave you feeling defeated and trapped in your current circumstances.
A lot of these feelings are developed due to being exposed to the truth in this world. You may also experience the frustration of trying to tell others just to instead receive rejection and ridicule from others etc. It can be a lonely journey during a spiritual awakening.
Because you are going through a spiritual burnout, you will find yourself suffering from continual extreme exhaustion. The extreme fatigue is so intense that you find yourself feeling extremely despondent and an extreme level of resistance.
I know for me personally, I am already anemic and suffer from extreme fatigue so dealing with a spiritual burnout is a very difficult process for me.
Spiritual burnout happens because of some of these reasons.
- Healing- Because of all of the information and new truths and reality that you learn may have happened so quickly, it will take a lot of healing to go through due to a lot of things you are trying to process.
- Ascension- During a spiritual awakening, you can possibly have multiple bouts of ascension symptoms. Ascension process consists of your body getting rid of old energy in order to instill more light in your body. The more light your body consumes and releases old energy, the more your body starts ascending to higher vibrational levels. Ascension symptoms can have a huge harsh impact on the physical body.
- The 3-D Human Body- The 3-D human body is considered to be the lower dimensional version of yourself. A Lot of the energies leave you to feel uncomfortable and your ego or human self try to force yourself through the process. Forcing yourself to speed through this process can set you back and result in a spiritual burnout. This can happen because you are trying to force yourself to escape through the process due to impatience. This feeling can make you feel trapped and you cannot get out of the negative cycle which can lead to a high level of anxiety.
- Loss of Satisfaction- Because you may feel too tired to achieve your goals, you may feel as if you are losing yourself day by day because by nature you may not be considered a lazy person and may be a very goal oriented person so this may leave you feeling extremely frustrated. So when you want to for example accomplish projects around the house, working on your business, having more fun time with your family etc., you may feel like a failure because you may experience not being able to physically do what you want to do during this process.
In order to get through the process of spiritual burnout, here are a few things listed below that you can do:
Praying/Visualization
This technique allows you to focus on God’s words and his promises and a great way of exercising your faith by visualizing what you do want vs. what you do not want. This process is allowing you to exercise your faith by seeing how you want to turn your current circumstances around to positivity.
Connect With Nature
Connecting with nature is a great way to clear your mind. You can do this in various ways. You can take a walk, ride your bike, start a garden, or sit out on your porch or patio and read a book etc.
Listening to Empowering & Conscious Music
Another great way to clear your mind is to listen to positive, empowering, and conscious music. Music that makes you feel good. You can create your favorite playlist and listen while working around the house or while you are relaxing. You can also dance or work out to your favorite songs. Singing along with your favorite music can be therapeutic as well. The goal is to listen to music that makes you feel good which can put you in a different state of mind and mood.
Meditation
Meditation of course is what I consider to be the best way to clear your mind. It allows you to clear your mind from all of the noise and distractions. It allows a moment of peace with no disrupting thoughts.

Dancing/Working Out
This option is a great way to refocus your mind on a different activity. It can be fun and a healthy approach to achieving a goal that most people have.
Dancing or working out is a great way to change your mood and get your juices flowing. It can also help you jumpstart your day and hopefully put you in a positive mood.
Dancing and working out to your favorite songs can also help enlighten you as well.
You can do self created dances or workouts or you can try other dance routines and workout by other creators.
I personally love YouTube for this option and you can click here to check out my favorite dance and workout playlist if you’d like by clicking here.

Cooking your favorite recipes can be fun. It is a great way to focus your attention on what you are doing in the present moment and can take you away from stressful thoughts etc. It can be also rewarding when you create a favorite recipe and enjoy your favorite meal or dessert. Of course bonding with family and friends is a great way of not focusing on whatever may be bothering you. Bonding with your loved ones can be as simple as movie night, shopping, or just taking a walk. It can also be a grand event by hosting an event or party or planning a vacation. It can also just be a simple phone call.
Go On A Vacation
Planning a vacation to just get a way is a great way of disconnecting and not focusing on your current circumstances. It can be a simple getaway staycation locally or of course just to simply go out of town or country.
